The problem
Opening a bank account or performing certain operations often requires visiting a branch. This consumes time and poses challenges for individuals who cannot access a branch physically.
The goal
Create a mobile app that allow clients create and operate their bank accounts from their smartphone, easily, anywhere, anytime.

Goals
Reaserch goal was to understand how people operate their bank accounts and which processes could be improved.
Findings
Research revealed the following pain points among the users.
Physical access
People with limited mobility or those living far from branches face difficulties completing procedures in person.
Time
Bank processes often take a significant amount of time.
Complexity
Some users encounter challenges navigating and completing tasks on digital platforms.

Visual design
Feedback from usability testing informed adjustments to the app’s structure and guided the creation of graphic elements. Specific attention was given to aspects like color contrast and typography legibility to ensure the app was accessible and comfortable for a wide range of users.

Impact
Feedback from users who tested the prototypes included:
“Generally the flow is direct and easy to understand”.
“The process was easy and I felt confidence while following it”.
What I learned
This project allowed me to engage in different stages of the design process, including research and testing. It was also an opportunity to design a product outside my usual scope, as I come from a background in web design.
